The winning streak continues....
Nothing better than networking on behalf of STELLAR360 with other local businesses and thank you to the First Friday Petersfield team for organising another excellent event.
The guest speaker, our local MP Damian Hinds, was prepared to answer some challenging and thought provoking questions from the attendees and it was equally interesting to hear his views on how to accelerate economic growth and the importance of SMEs and Start-ups being the backbone of our local and national economies.
Excellent conversations had, new connections made and established ones strengthened. More importantly the winning streak continued 🍾

Growing Sales

Are we seeing some shoots of recovery in the SME ecosystem?
At STELLAR360 we genuinely think so!
Over the past month or so our most popular placed roles for our clients have been sales focused roles with successful placements of:
- Business Development Managers,
- International and UK based Account Managers
- Sales/Pre-sales roles.
Our greatest recent success has been helping build out and a brand new Account Management team to help grow and develop a key service line for our client. We were able to find exactly the right individuals who were both a cultural and technical fit for our client.
We can see confidence growing slowly with the green shoots of economic recovery taking hold within our SME client base ....long may it continue for all!

Autumn Budget - initial reaction from STELLAR360

A budget for SME and Start up growth? Not really, but there is hope.
Rachel's Autumn Budget seems to have left most SMEs and Start-ups in a pickle when it comes to recruiting, investing in and/or downsizing their workforce.
Keeping personal tax thresholds frozen longer, as well several other fiscal measures, will inevitably create fiscal drag on business spending especially for SMEs. We predict that there will be retention and hiring challenges for SMEs due to employees and job seekers alike seeking higher wages to maintain some type of equilibrium in their household budgets.
Not suprisingly we also think that many SMEs and Start Ups will pause hiring until later in Q1 2026 as they continue to assess the challenges ahead.
However, it is not all doom and gloom!
At STELLAR360 we have never been busier helping our SME clients find the right talent, at the right price, to help grow their businesses in a sustainable way by working with hiring managers, HR teams and the candidates and treating their business and personal needs as if they are our own.

STELLAR360 were proud to sponsor TN FC in the second iteration of the TvM Cup, now renamed the Mark Vincent Trophy 💗
Bigger squads, new kits, film cameras and yet again amazing support from friends and family made for an amazing game. In the end a cracking 3-3 all draw was a fair result and marked the occasion well with generous donations made by all.

2025 Costs on the Rise; STELLAR360 Fees Unchanged

In these challenging economic times with costs rising for our clients and ourselves, it could be tempting to increase our fees.
According to key industry sources* most agencies typically charge between 15%-30%, with many charging higher percentages for more complex roles.
Some good news.... we have decided that STELLAR360 won't add to our client's pain. We want to remain true to one of key principles of being cost-effective, so we are pleased to announce we are holding our placement fees at 12% of first year base salary only (bonuses/OTE not included).
What's more for any new clients we will be re-introducing our discounted 10% fee for the first placement we make.

A long time in the making and alot of planning and preparation in the background, but it is all now over!
Team STELLAR360 has had an amazing two days of exhibiting and speaking at the The Business Show at the ExCEL in London. 750 exhibitors, tens of thousands of visitors and alot of chocolate given away!
We enjoyed networking, making new connections and having the privilege to impart our wisdom to show attendees on current recruitment trends on the Recruitment Panel.
Great to see some old friends and connections again, and thanks to all who helped us make a success of the event, with particular mentions to Elliot, Archie, Sam and Vik! 💪❤️

Change of plan! STELLAR360 will be visiting the Winchester B2B Expo at the IHG Winchester
STELLAR360's planned meetings at the Holiday Inn Winchester has been slightly scuppered by B2B Expos Winchester's expo happening at the same time!
Though we now need to change venue for our meetings (😥) we recommend that, if you in the area, you pop in and meet and support other local businesses at the Winchester expo.
B2B Expos run great events and from personal experience STELLAR360 enjoyed exhibiting at the Basingstoke B2B Expo early in the year. Attendance is free and well attended by businesses across Hampshire and the South.
Lessons Learned from SME XPO.....

SME XPO is a two-day exhibition and conference designed to inspire and connect entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Learn from the UK's most successful entrepreneurs, network with fellow owners and founders, and meet best-in-class suppliers.
The team at STELLAR360 joyfully headed upto the SME XPO at the ExCEL in London last week, to seek potential likeminded business partners, however we hadn't quite anticpated the scale of the event!
Though a worthwhile visit we have learnt that the 4Ps (Preparation Prevents Poor Performance) are crucial for getting the most out of events like these!!
Lesson learned and looking forward to 2025's version.
